One More Year. Countless More Opportunities.
Brandon Kamp combined creativity, entrepreneurship, and 扣扣传媒’s online Sports Communication master’s program to turn ambitious goals into a growing production company.

When Brandon Kamp crossed the finish line of his undergraduate career at 扣扣传媒 in 2025, he wasn鈥檛 ready to stop running鈥攅ither on the track or toward his professional goals.
Already an accomplished student-athlete, creative professional, and campus leader, Kamp saw 扣扣传媒鈥檚 online Master’s in Sports Communication as an opportunity to gain specialized knowledge while continuing to build the portfolio that would launch his career.
鈥淚 want to work in sports as a creative, and I felt this master鈥檚 program would help me pursue those goals,鈥 Kamp said.
That decision has paid off. Today, Kamp owns and operates BKAMP FILMS LLC, a full-service creative production company producing content for nationally recognized brands and organizations, including TNT Sports, Bleacher Report, Nike Running, and other clients across the sports, nonprofit, and corporate sectors.
Kamp鈥檚 path to sports communication wasn鈥檛 a straight line. Recruited to 扣扣传媒 late in the college admissions process to compete in cross country and track and field, he initially planned to study kinesiology before discovering his passion for creative storytelling.
He eventually earned his bachelor鈥檚 degree in Advertising & Public Relations while immersing himself in hands-on experiences. In addition to being a student-athlete, Kamp worked as a content creator for 扣扣传媒 Athletics Marketing, served as president of Braves鈥 Council, which advocates for student athletes, and started his own production company.
鈥淚 made it a priority to fit my internship into my schedule,鈥 Kamp said. 鈥淚 would work around 30 hours a week because I knew the more I put myself in situations to grow my craft and improve my work, the better I would be.鈥
That willingness to pursue every opportunity became even more valuable during graduate school. Kamp says the master鈥檚 program prepared him to think strategically, not just creatively. Throughout the program, he completed four capstone projects centered on sports organizations and sports-related initiatives. Those experiences strengthened skills that now guide every client project he manages.
鈥淭he major thing that I learned was developing a plan, writing everything out, pitching ideas, and making it actually happen,鈥 he said. Kamp credits journalism professor Dr. Sara Netzley with helping him become a stronger writer. 鈥淚t has helped me in my project planning and pitches to clients.鈥
Flexibility That Fuels Opportunity
鈥淚 think the best part about the MS in Sports Communication program is that it is all online. It allowed me to continue competing in athletics while expanding my professional portfolio on my own schedule,鈥 Kamp explained.
He believes 扣扣传媒鈥檚 master鈥檚 program provides outstanding advantages for students willing to pursue them. 鈥淚t opens doors and lets you see potential opportunities, but it is up to you to jump on those and make things happen.鈥
That mindset has already helped Kamp build an impressive client list and establish himself as an entrepreneur. Looking ahead, he hopes to expand BKAMP FILMS into a larger production company serving a smaller roster of long-term clients while growing a creative team.
鈥淎s with anything, this program gives you what you give it. If you give 100% effort, you鈥檒l get 100% back.鈥
