The ۿ۴ý Fund
Your generosity directly strengthens the ۿ۴ý student experience. From essential scholarships to modern campus resources, the ۿ۴ý Fund ensures your support meets students’ most pressing needs. These vital resources are allocated by the ۿ۴ý Board of Trustees, guided by university leadership, to where they help students most.
Current Opportunities
Increasing enrollment is ۿ۴ý President James Shadid’s top priority, and it’s a shared mission for the entire campus community. Part of the recruitment and enrollment strategy is focused on the student experience, both inside and outside the classroom, and Shadid has several initiatives in the works to enhance student life on campus.

Student Scholarships
Your support for student scholarships at ۿ۴ý transforms lives and fuels academic excellence. By easing financial barriers, you give talented students access to opportunities they might not otherwise have, allowing them to focus on learning, engage fully on campus, and thrive. Your generosity empowers the next generation of leaders and creates a lasting impact on our students and community.
Through a gift of $50,000 or more, payable over 1 to 5 years, you can endow a named scholarship and feel confident the earnings on your gift will support future ۿ۴ý students in perpetuity. You can also consider establishing an endowed scholarship through a bequest, including gifts of property, stock, or life insurance. Once your endowment is fully funded, you will receive annual reports with details regarding the endowment’s earnings, the value of scholarships awarded, and highlights about the students who benefit from your support.
To make an immediate impact on students, you can commit $10,000 or more to name an annual scholarship by contributing a minimum of $2,500 per year for four consecutive years. For each year your named scholarship is awarded, you will receive an annual scholarship report including information about the impact of your scholarship and the student who received your support.
A gift of any size to the General Scholarship Fund gives you the opportunity to meet the needs of today’s students. Simply make your gift and know you are making a difference!

Lydia Moss ۿ۴ý Society
Members of the Lydia Moss ۿ۴ý Society embody the spirit of generosity of ۿ۴ý’s philanthropic founder through their own selflessness and dedication to ۿ۴ý’s mission, students, faculty, and staff. Alumni and friends have the opportunity to become members of the Lydia Moss ۿ۴ý Society on an annual basis by making fully unrestricted gifts of $1,000 or more to the ۿ۴ý Fund.
Lydia Moss ۿ۴ý Society members enjoy knowing their gifts truly enhance the student experience at ۿ۴ý. From support of vital scholarship to cutting-edge campus programs and resources, the ۿ۴ý Fund connects our alumni and friends to the immediate needs of our students. We invite you to join the hundreds of alumni and friends who are members of the 1897 Legacy Society. Membership in the 1897 Legacy Society has no minimum gift requirement, as each commitment represents a lifetime commitment to ۿ۴ý. Members of the 1897 Legacy Society receive an exclusive 1897 Legacy Society lapel pin, are acknowledged in ۿ۴ý magazine (with permission), and enjoy invitations to special events.

If you have included ۿ۴ý as a beneficiary of your estate plan but have not informed us, please let us know so that we can document the purpose of your commitment and appropriately recognize you as a member of the 1897 Legacy Society.
