¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ and Caterpillar celebrated their ongoing efforts to help current ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ students find internships and full-time employment opportunities at Caterpillar Inc.

Administrators from ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ and Caterpillar joined together in the Wyckoff room of the Cullom-Davis Library on ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½’s campus today, to celebrate their ongoing efforts to help current ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ students find internships and full-time employment opportunities at Caterpillar Inc.
For over 36 years, ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ and Caterpillar have partnered together to create a strong relationship. This partner school relationship helps to increase student awareness of employment opportunities at Caterpillar.
As a result of the partnership:
• Caterpillar currently employs more than 2000 ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ Graduates
• Around 700 Caterpillar Engineers are ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ Graduates
• More than 260 Caterpillar Marketing professionals are ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ Graduates
• 60% of Graduates from ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ employed at Caterpillar are viewed as having leadership potential
• 27% of Graduates from ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ employed at Caterpillar are currently in supervisory roles
• Senior Vice President Dave Bozeman is a ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ graduate and a member of the Board of Trustees
• Three of Caterpillar’s vice presidents are ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ graduates — Gwenne Henricks, Julie Lagacy and Tana Utley

The recruitment programs and projects we have planned in cooperation with Caterpillar for the upcoming year will help students understand the wide-range of employment opportunities that are available for current students and recent graduates at Caterpillar Inc.”
