Women in Leadership Luncheon featuring Laura Kelly
For the past 20 years, ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½’s Institute for Principled Leadership in Public Service has hosted a Women in Leadership luncheon honoring the legacy of Lydia Moss ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½. This year’s luncheon, hosted by the Institute alongside the Peoria Women’s Club and ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ President Jim Shadid, welcomes Kansas Governor Laura Kelly, a ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ alumna, as the featured speaker. Governor Kelly is finishing her second and final four-year term and models the bipartisan, ethical, civil, and collaborative leadership approach the Institute promotes. A Psychology major at ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½, she jokes that her degree has served her well in dealing with all the personalities and egos she’s encountered in politics. Join us for a fun and enlightening lunch.
