Major challenges for the client are – at plants spread across 4 different locations, 30000+ spare parts in the inventory with more than 20% duplicates, and multiple stock codes for the same material.The client identified various issues with their supply chain such as maverick purchases, high obsolescence and increase in non-moving inventory.
