Shivamogga, September 12, 2023: ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½, a leading Engineering design Services Company based in Bangalore, has launched the ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ Centre for Advanced Digital Construction at the PES Institute of Technology and Management (PESITM) Shivamogga to employ students in new age 3D digital technologies increasingly being deployed in the construction sector globally. The inauguration was done by Shri B Y Raghavendra, Member of Parliament – Shivamogga Constituency, Shri S. Rudregowda MLC & Shri DS Arun MLC. The Centre will provide job opportunities to freshly graduated engineers and to engineers who want to reverse migrate to Shivamogga.

Over the year, the ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ Centre for Advanced Digital Construction will recruit around 100 Engineers from PESITM and train them for a duration of three months to ensure that they are industry-ready and are able to handle projects related to Building Information Modelling (BIM) and 3D designs which is crucial to the planning, design, and construction of structures and buildings and is the future of construction. This centre will also collaborate with the faculty too in improving the overall skill levels on 3D design technology.

Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Anil Sivadas, President, ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ said: “We thank PESITM for giving us the opportunity to locate our Centre for Advanced Digital Construction at their campus in Shivamogga. We aim to tap talent in tier II and tier III cities and setting up bases there as it gives us access to a larger talent pool. These cities have gradually come up the ranks to feature in India’s employment mix largely due to skills available in deeper corners of the country and consistent investments in infrastructure in these regions. In order to diversify the workforce, there is a movement towards tapping the engineering pool that India’s tier 2-3 cities have to offer. We are planning to open more such advanced centres at cities like Mysore, Hubli, Dharwad etc in the near future thereby driving innovation, creating jobs and contributing to economic growth and development.â€

¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ Centre for Advanced Digital Construction will provide an excellent prospect for freshly graduated engineers to receive mentorship from experienced professionals. Through the training process, they are exposed to real-life situations that challenge their skills, knowledge, and creativity. The centre will also provide ample training and employment opportunities for employees who had migrated to their native during the pandemic, thus helping maintain a healthy work life balance by giving them the same skilled opportunities available in other metropolitan cities in their hometown, Shivamogga.

More than 90% of design engineers around the world use 3D Max rendering to create best quality engineering designs for product manufacturing and various other engineering projects. Why is 3D Max extensively used? It’s basically due to the perfection, high resolution, and matchless quality of the designs created using 3D Max. This software has been widely used by a lot of architects and designers around the world, to get truly interactive and creative designs 3D Max has now become the part and parcel of many vital projects. Apart from architectural drawings, 3D Max modeling and rendering are widely used in electronic and mechanical engineering design services, which include product designing and PCB (Printed Circuit Board) designing. Owing to the immense clarity and comprehensibility of the images obtained, 3D Max is broadly accepted by design engineers all over the world.

When it comes to PCB designing, flawless designing is really important. Even the slightest flaw in a PCB design can affect the performance of a product to a considerable extent. Hence it is very important to take utmost care while drawing engineering designs. This is easily possible in 3D Max, as it has umpteen features to help you make your design perfect and flawless.

Engineering designers can save a lot of time and effort by creating designs in the 3D Max, as it takes only limited time, and will help meeting those tough deadlines more easily, and get a considerable amount of monetary benefits too.

Mechanical CAD has come a long way in the last few years and in many ways is helping the process of mechanical engineering more than ever. In the earlier days, CAD systems were nothing more than an extension of the drawing board, simply offering a more convenient way of producing design specifications. Now, CAD systems will not only produce the full designs for a product, but they can also offer virtual prototyping, and endless extra information on materials, manufacturing processes, component selection, and tolerances of individual parts, and even the whole system.

CAD doesn’t only operate in 2D any more either, 3D CAD is now so widely available that these days even the most humble items may well be designed, specified and virtually prototyped within a CAD system before anybody ever gets to see or touch anything real at all. In many cases, a number of different designs will be on the go at once so that they can be tested together and even, in the case of products that need to be seen and touched and have some degree of aesthetic or ergonomics, they can be visualized in photo-realism and shown to target audiences so that you can decide final product details before it ever goes to the physical prototype stage or even straight to manufacture.

The CAD process has become very advanced and it would take a brave company to take on their own mechanical design CAD systems in-house, which is why a number of companies are now providing design services for mechanical engineering companies, working together through all the process stages until the product is ready to roll.
