Why Sports Camps at LCU?

There are hundreds of athletic camps around the country each summer you could be sending your young athletes to, so why choose Lincoln Christian University Summer Sports Camps? What sets us apart from the rest is a Christ-centered atmosphere that combines the physical training of a high quality sports camp and the spiritual nurturing of a church camp, the best of both worlds.

We realize there is more to life than just sports. We are trying to shape the whole person. The staff consists of Christian coaches who genuinely care about the players they coach because they see in them young people made in the image of God. The concept of teamwork, fair play, and humility lay at the heart of what we are. 

What to Expect

Our summer sports camps are designed to be "skill camps." We stress fundamental skills as well as the concept of team play. We are convinced that championship programs are those in which the players know and execute the fundamentals correctly. Someone has said that the axiom "practice makes perfect" could more accurately be stated "perfect practice makes perfect." Camp is designed to teach players skills and drills that they can use throughout the rest of the summer to continue to improve their play. Also, we understand that competition is fun. Our camp features game competition. Each evening, games are played to allow the players to apply the skills in a team concept.

Housing & Meals

All campers will be housed on campus in our residence halls and will be supervised by staff from the camp who are living in the halls with them. Campers will eat all their meals in our recently remodeled cafeteria

What to Bring

Adequate clothing for an active sports camp: several changes of shorts, T-shirts, and appropriate shoes for their sport, socks, bed linens for twin size bed, pillow, personal items, toiletries, and Bible.

Refund Policy

Full refunds will be granted until May 1st.

50% of your payment will be refunded from May 1st - June 1st.

Starting June 1st, no refunds will be given on registration payments.
